In this design case, we make a reverse engineering process was carried out on the "Wahl super taper model 8467" hair cutting machine, with the purpose of identifying materials, analyzing technical production processes, determining the number of components and understanding its operation in detail. All this with the aim of carrying out a redesign with a view to efficiency and innovation, improving the user experience and optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes.

An analysis of sports cars was carried out, looking for the possibility of adopting a mechanical analogy, which adapts to the innovation approaches that are sought to be proposed in the design; and that in turn, serves as formal inspiration to generate elegant, dynamic, organic and distinctive proposals.
Se realizó un análisis de automóviles deportivos, buscando la posibilidad de adoptar una analogía mecánica, que se adapte a los enfoques de innovación que se buscan plantear en el diseño; y que a su vez, sirva de inspiración formal para generar propuestas elegantes, dinámicas, orgánicas y distintivas

The car model "Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300 2019" was selected as the base concept. An analysis of the most relevant formal and functional characteristics for the project was carried out, to then propose associations of these aspects with possible design considerations. Subsequently, the creativity and formal exploration phase began, making sketches with different design proposals.
Se seleccionó el modelo de automóvil "Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300 2019" como concepto base. Se realizó un análisis de las características formales y funcionales más relevantes para el proyecto, para luego plantear asociaciones de dichos aspectos con posibles consideraciones de diseño. Posteriormente, se comenzó la fase de creatividad y exploración formal, realizando bocetos con distintas propuestas de diseño.
